Russia 1913 Commemorative
Silver Rouble. 300-th Anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty. Scarce early "Low Relief"
issue that was found to be made of unsatisfactory design (relief was too low) and
removed from production. The rest of the mintage was struck with better made "High
Relief" dies instead. Estimated only about 50K to 100K (out of 1,472,000 total
pcs. minted) were made with the "Low Relief" dies. Graded by NGC as Choice
Almost Uncirculated NGC AU-58. Scarce. Medium natural iridescent toning over
lustrous fields. Y-70.
